It provides to you a great introduction to understand how the volcanoes created the island of Lesbos around 60-20 million years ago and how the petrified forest in the Sigri area was created by nature. In the museum you will find maps, diagrams and even a lab in which you may feel an earthquake. Everything is well designed and explained.
