Nature Discovery Tours to Greece
Greece is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. It is the destination of the Greece tours in the program of Nature Discovery Tours, because Tobias Schorr (founder of Nature Discovery Tours) lived there on Methana for more than ten years.
There is still a lot to discover in Greece!
As a photographer, your tour guide Tobias Schorr will be happy to give you tips on how to turn a boring vacation photo into a great travel photo. Through his knowledge of the modern Greek language and his many friends, you will get to know the real Greece and its lovely people directly.
Anyone who comes to Greece once will come again and again!
Greece is a country that cannot be easily described. It is too versatile. Greece has very varied landscapes. There are mountains like in Switzerland (Olymp, Epirus, Peloponnese), flat plains (Thessaly), wild coasts and over 3000 islands, none of which is the same. The regional culture is correspondingly different. Every region has its dialect, specialties and music. In this versatility, nature has adapted to the different climatic conditions and soil conditions. Geology has left its mark on the country. Tectonic processes (earthquakes, displacements and mountain formation), erosion and volcanism have created highly interesting travel destinations. Who knew that the last volcanic eruption in Greece did not take place later than 1950 and that there are 5 active volcanic areas?
Travelling 12 months in Greece?
In terms of climate, Greece is an ideal destination for Central and Northern Europeans who want to escape the uniform gray. You can travel the country all year round. The country is much too good only for swimming! Especially those who like to hike and love nature can discover the charming, blooming nature on hiking trips from March-June and October-January. The period from June to the end of September is still quite warm and dry, but you can still go on hiking tours in Methana and in mountain regions. The time from January to mid-March can be cold, but never in such a way that the weather is really bad for more than 2 days.
